Adriana Castro

Zenú Placemat and Coaster Set of 4

$215.00
This intricate, hand-woven placemat transports us in time to the creation of the sombrero vueltiao (Colombian Spanish for turned hat), inspiration that is the purest ancestral poetry. In the Caribbean region of Colombia the magic hands of the artisans of the Zenú indigenous community weave stories with caña flecha, a locally grown cane. Stories that are embodied in a placemat that after a hand-made braid, come to life at the Adriana Castro Atelier.

Separately hand wash your crystal with a soft sponge in warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and use a lint-free drying cloth to avoid watermarks.  Carefully dry the glass foot and the stem. To dry the bowl – do not hold the glass by either the foot or stem- hold only the bowl of glass to dry the inside. Store your glassware upright.
